"The courage and the final hurdle of getting over this fear of public speaking came a little bit later. It actually, and I remember exactly the day, when was it that it happened? It was in the middle of my eighth grade...I had butterflies in my stomach every single time, but the first time that I had to actually speak in public was an actual debate. But you know, those 20 or 30 minutes speaking on stating my position on whatever the debate topic was, I didn't mind what I heard. I was like listening to myself while I was speaking and I said, 'You know Jack, you're not that bad. You belong here; you could actually do this.'" - Jack Madrid
